Why is a Professionally designed Brand so important?

Branding is important for Recognition purposes. Your logo will feature on all your documentation vehicle branding, signage and even advertisements A professional logo design is simple enough to be memorable, but powerful enough to give the desired impression of your company. Your Company’s Branding communicates the values of your Company as well the Trustworthiness of your product or service along with your professionalism.

Your branding can not only affect prospective clients but your workforce as well. If your branding is awesome, your workforce will feel the need to excel and be more productive. Taking pride in your appearance is an important value to be taken into account when developing your brand. Everyone wants to be different and unique, that is why your brand must be of such high standard that future clients will differentiate you from your competitors which can lead to a loyal clientele.

When do I need a professionally designed Brand?

It is definitely necessary to establish your brand if:

  • You have no Corporate Identity to begin with.
  • You have developed and compiled your brand by means of using an online brand developing site. These brands lack in uniqueness and aren’t just sold to you but to various companies across the world.
  • Your logo was born in digital programs like MSWord, Powerpoint, MSPaint. Giving your brand the proper facelift will help you reach milestones.
  • Your logo must resonate with your products of services, to avoid wrong impressions from prospective clients.
What is a Corporate I.D

By means of combining various elements, such as imagery and typography your company’s face (logo) is born. The developed face/logo is then implemented to a business card, letterhead and email signature which concludes as your Corporate Identity.

How do I brief/tell you how and what I want?

What is a logo?

A logo is usually the first visual symbol you develop as a business. You may also think of a Logo as a simple visual mark to identify your company, product or service.

It is a design that is used by an organization to identify its products, uniform, vehicles, advertising material, and signs as an emblem by which the organization can easily be recognized, also known as a graphic mark, emblem, or symbol or called logotype. Logotype is a graphic representation or symbol of a company name, trademark, abbreviation, etc. and is a commonly used by commercial enterprises, organizations and even individuals to aid and promote instant public recognition.

Maybe you’ve tried coming up with something yourself. Maybe you’ve called in a favour from a friend who has an old version of Photoshop. There are plenty of ways you can go when you don’t want to spend money, and we’ve seen them all. Most of them turn out to be dead ends that waste time and money. If you want great design, at great prices, you will have to be serious about what you want and using a professional company to create and establish it for you.

Three essential logo design elements include meaningful and readable text, supporting colours, and custom graphics. You may even see a logo used without the name of the business that it is associated with, if the logo is well-known enough like Nike’s swoosh. Normally, most marks have a typographic part that more clearly spells out the name of the organization.

Once a logo has been designed it gets applied to many different applications.

The most popular and successful companies continue to say that "simpler is better", especially today when everything is moving so fast you have less and less time to impress your customers. Flat design and ‘clean-cut’ layout is much more professional and proofed as being much more successful because of this reason. So a logo has to be done in a very stylish manner yet remaining conservative so that it`s easier for the eye to catch and the brain to memorize your logo design. It must be recognizable with your concept in a visual message, because when designing a logo, you are actually sending an SMS (Short Message Shock).

A successful logo consists of a good design process, time and confidence. That is also one of the main reasons you need a professional graphic design company to establish your logo and marketing material. Some of the things included into the design process of a logo is aspect ratio, printability, scalability, colours for print web and black and white, uniqueness etc. Then also to keep into consideration is design trends, technical issues, abstraction level, and the most important, a professional look. Brainstorming the basic elements of your product.

To sum it up, the logo is summarizing in a visual language your concept. It is your idea about your company and the way people will remember you.

Definition of a logo:

A logo (abbreviation of logotype, from Greek: λόγος logos "word" and τύπος typos "imprint") is a graphic mark, emblem, or symbol commonly used by commercial enterprises, organizations and even individuals to aid and promote instant public recognition. Logos are either purely graphic (symbols/icons) or are composed of the name of the organization (a logotype or wordmark).

However, care needs to be taken in keeping the email signatures short and to-the-point – easy to read and professional to end off any communication happening through your email. Don't overload your signatures with irrelevant and meaningless information. Your signature can also be directly linked to any URL, which is very helpful in directing people to your company’s website.

If you have packets of documents, you need a folder. Why not create yours with a presence that matches your company's look and feel?
